My favorite non-profit organization, Project Lifelong, has been supporting Sacramento area youth for nearly 10 years through their (nearly free) weekly skateboarding clinics and other events.
These outdoor activities help build strength, confidence, friendships & cooperation. Safety gear, skate equipment & ramps are all furnished. Leadership and guidance are provided by both volunteers & paid employees.
The newest PLL goal is to obtain a large cargo van, offering mobile pop-up clinics to reach additional sites (& kids)!
They're well on their way & with your help the goal can be reached this year!
