Having walked in the shoes of a single mom, I have a great appreciation for the work that Single Mom Strong does. I am honored to serve as a Board Member of Single Mom Strong.

Single Mom Strong is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering single mothers and their children by providing essential resources, community support, and opportunities for long-term stability. Through programs focused on education, wellness, and personal development, Single Mom Strong helps families build resilience and thrive despite life’s challenges.

On Big Day of Giving, we invite our community to come together to uplift and invest in single mothers who are working tirelessly to create better futures for their families. Every donation directly supports programming such as academic support for children, mental health and wellness services, and career advancement for moms.

Every dollar you give to Single Mom Strong supports our community and programs. 

EmpowerME Preschool & Childcare 

Childcare is the #1 barrier keeping single moms from pursuing education or career goals. Our EmpowerME programs offer affordable, trauma-informed care for children 6 months through seventh grade, giving moms the peace of mind needed to keep building their futures. 

📚 A $300 donation fills a classroom with books for a whole year. 

🌞 A $140 donation sends a child to summer camp for a week of fun, learning, and friendship. 

🍎 A $4,000 donation pays the first month of a teacher’s salary, allowing us to increase our capacity and serve more children. 

Single Mom Strong Events 

Single moms rarely get time for themselves, especially time that feels joyful, safe, and empowering. Our community events offer that, and so much more. 

💐 A $200 donation provides a Mom & Me event, which allows mothers and their children to spend quality time and create joyful memories, while getting to know other local single moms and their kids. 

🎉 A $200 donation also funds a Mom’s Night Out event, allowing moms to get to know other local single moms and “refill their cups”, while their kids are well-cared for at one of our licensed childcare centers. 

❤️ A $7,500 donation covers the cost of our Love Your Life Valentine’s Gala—our most powerful event of the year, where over 70 moms walk the red carpet, enjoy dinner, and feel seen, celebrated, and loved on Valentine’s Day. 

Men’s Mentoring & Community Building 

So many children of single moms long for consistent, caring male role models. Our Men’s Mentoring program offers just that: positive, present men who show up to play, talk, and listen. 

👨‍👧 A $300 donation funds an entire mentoring event that brings connection, laughter, and support to kids who need it most
