I support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area because I believe in the power of mentorship. Our mission is personal to me because, of my mentor, Christine. She didn’t just show up for a season, she showed up for my life. Even now, she is still my mentor.

Having someone who sees you, believes in you, and reminds you of who you are when you’re still figuring it out is foundational to a healthy future. I didn’t have all the words for it then, but I understand it deeply now.

Today, I have the privilege of doing this work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I see that same transformation happening every day. Confidence grows. Hope builds. Futures shift. All because one person chose to show up.
