Katie Beers' Fundraiser (KUDL)

The Placer LGBTQ+ Center just opened up. My niece Des is queer and it’s been such a fight for her. But she’s been a champion, she’s held exactly true to who she is (even when her family didn’t even support it). But she’s thriving in school, making friends, excelling; DESPITE a lack of support internally BUT her support within the community is why she’s so willing to be herself! I’m wildly proud of her and incredibly impressed. I’d never ever have had to courage to be myself the way she boldly is HER.
