BIG Day! BIGGER Impact!

I didn’t expect a job to change me the way this one has.

As a CASA case manager—and a CASA myself—I get to witness something powerful every day. I’m not just supporting this work, I’m part of it. I’ve seen firsthand how one consistent, caring adult can change the course of a child’s life. And that experience has changed me, too.

I’ve watched volunteers become steady voices in the middle of uncertainty, showing up to court, to school meetings, and simply to listen. I’ve seen children begin to trust again, to smile more, and to believe their story can turn out differently.

This work isn’t always easy. Some days are heavy. But even on the hardest days, I’m reminded that no child is alone when a community chooses to care.

That’s what I love most—not just the work itself, but the people behind it. The volunteers who give their time, the donors who make it possible, and the community that continues to show up, again and again.

I’m so grateful to be part of something that truly changes lives. 💙
