The pandemic has gravely impacted students of all backgrounds, races, and abilities. United Way California Capital Region’s STARS program links students with dedicated and compassionate tutors. On average, students improve their reading by 2.5 levels after just several months of weekly sessions.
This Big Day of Giving, I am asking my social network to give a gift, of any amount, to support STARS. Your gift will #LaunchLiteracy and help set youth up for success.
Our children need literacy skills now to ensure they graduate middle and high school so that they can compete for trades and higher education later.
