Blackberry Creek Farm Animal Sanctuary provides critical rescue services and permanent sanctuary homes for species not assisted by traditional shelters. The home of more than 80 animals, our non-profit sanctuary goes above and beyond to make rescued animals a part of our family. By supporting our work on Big Day of Giving, you are supporting:
- Critical medical care for abused, neglected, injured, and chronically ill animals.
- Fire safety and evacuation equipment (especially important after all we learned last year during the River Fire)!
- Staffing to provide 24/7 care to rescued animals permanently living at the sanctuary.
- Funding for LEAP, our humane education program alternative to FFA and 4H
- "Book Barn" literacy programs
- General operating costs (animal feed, bedding, medication, fencing, maintenance, etc.)
- Funding for new and improved habitats (like our new waterfowl habitat opening in June 2022)!
