Established in 1999 as a community-based 501(c)(3) FREE, non-profit resource center, Sierra Pregnancy and Health (SPH) has been dedicated to meeting the needs of women and children during a critical time of their lives. In October 2016, SPH expanded our services and became a state licensed medical clinic. Today the Board of Directors and Executive Director hold true to the life affirming core values and purposes the organization was founded upon including providing medical care and practical solutions to women with or without insurance who are pregnant. We provide NO CHARGE medical services, community resources, education, mentorship and material support regardless of age, race, or religion. All services are provided with the highest level of respect for the woman, baby and family. SPH is funded 100% by donations.
Sierra Pregnancy + Health (SPH) could not be successful without the support of our dedicated contributors. In fact, all of our organization's budget is made up of heart-felt support from people like you. Donations made to SPH directly impact the clients we serve every day. We rely on these contributions to maintain and grow our programs, which are designed to help women, babies, and families, free of charge. Our top priority this year is providing no-cost pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, early prenatal care, STD testing and treatment, and parent support. Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 through our Early Pregnancy and Wellness Initiative to meet these needs for women in our community. Join us as we link our lives with those who are struggling with pregnancy-related issues. Your gift can make the difference today that will last a lifetime.

Early Pregnancy and Wellness Initiative: Since 1999, SPH has provided resources to women facing unplanned or unsupported pregnancy. In 2016, SPH became a state licensed medical clinic allowing us to continue all of our current programs (parenting support, material goods, nurse taught educational classes, and community referrals) while expanding our medical services (pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, prenatal vitamin distribution, STD/STI testing and treatment, and flu shots) free of charge to the community. Our goals for 2018 are focused on growing our medical services to include well woman care and on-going prenatal care. Our services benefit Placer County and surrounding areas as we are the only medical clinic offering this range of services free of charge to the community, supported entirely by the community (SPH accepts no federal or state funding). Acting as a health safety net, the goal of SPH is to find ways to improve access, care coordination and quality of care for women, babies and families in our region.
Our top needs:
  1. Funding: Unrestricted - Funding is needed to continue offering free medical care, advocacy, parenting support, and resource referrals.
  2. Funding: Unrestricted - Funding to grow our no cost medical services in order to meet the ever growing needs of women facing barriers to early health care.
  3. Volunteers - We are seeking to grow our medical team in order to provide well women checks and early prenatal care.
  4. Board Members - Leaders in the community who want to help lead through our Board of Directors.
  5. Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to support fundraising endeavors.
"Sierra Pregnancy + Health (SPH) is a light-filled place with compassionate staff and volunteers, who provide free of charge medical services, care and support to women and their families. Women leave each visit knowing that they have been heard, affirmed, and supported. Our community responds to our work by financially supporting us. We accept no federal or state funding and take great pride in knowing that individuals, churches, and businesses agree that the work we do is vital to our county. As Executive Director, I am thankful to be a part of SPH. The rewards for this work are tremendous as we see women and families grow with the gifts of support and hope." Sincerely, Tricia Lewis Executive Director
