THE MOST INSPIRING DAY IN THE SACRAMENTO REGIONOn May 3, our community will come together to continue the tradition we established years ago, which is now woven into our regional identity: for one 24-hour stretch, we will give to the hundreds of nonprofits that strengthen the Sacramento region every day. Big Day of Giving is the culmination of an entire year’s worth of community-building and collaboration, made possible by the generosity of our region’s donors and our many community partners, who have supported this movement from the beginning.
STRONG NONPROFITS BENEFIT EVERYONEEnsuring the capital area’s nonprofits have the tools to sustain their missions is the essential work of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, which has brought Big Day of Giving to this community since its inception. Thanks to generous people in our region, the Foundation has been able to seed this community-wide effort to support local organizations as they fortify their collaborations with nonprofit colleagues, deepen their engagements with donors, and strengthen their impact in our community.
HONORED TO SERVE THE CAPITAL AREABig Day of Giving is powered by the region's nonprofit knowledgebase, GivingEdge, and both are brought to the capital area by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation as part of its initiative to expand philanthropy and the social economy.
