Description
For the past 22 years, an annual public program celebrating music from across the Davis school district has been hosted by DSOMA. Initially at the Veteran's Memorial Theater, the festival moved to the UC Davis Mondavi Center for Performing arts shortly after it opened so that students would have the unique opportunity to play in a professional concert setting. Since 2005, DSOMA has sponsored this annual student musical celebration, the primary cost for which is rental of the hall. We keep the ticket costs low so friends and family are able to attend regardless of income. Because of this, considerable fundraising is needed to support our annual event.
