Description
Spiritual Direction is a process that focuses on conscious development of the relationship between person and the Divine, either one-to-one or in a small group setting. During monthly meetings the Spiritual Director assists the directee, or group, notice, name, and respond to the presence, movement, and invitation of "The Holy" in relationships, ordinary living, meditation, and prayer.

- Approximately 52 individuals are currently active in our spiritual direction program and meet monthly with one of our three Spiritual Directors.
Description
Periodic gatherings to discern and discuss ethical implications for daily living, i.e. unconscious bias, immigration, homelessness, and hunger.

- Thursday morning gathering has met monthly for several years and has included book readings, movie viewing and special speakers.
Description
Via introductory sessions, participants learn a mindful method of collage to make their own deck of cards, each collage card representing one aspect of her/his personality or Soul. Through the process of meditative journaling, participants are taught to use the cards intuitively to answer life's questions, to deepen self-discovery and nurture the integration of mind, body, spirit, and soul.

Description
The Center for Urban Spirituality offers workshops in mandala making, Zentangle, Watercolor, SoulCollage, origami, and a varitey of other paper arts. Weekly Monday evening Studio time is offered for those who wish to explore their own art making as prayer. Through making art participants learn to relax, release, and slow their minds in order to experience the benefits of art as meditation.
