Description
Musical Mayhem Productions Master Academy is an annual program that offers the most extensive Performing Arts education. Young people 3rd grade through 12th grade are auditioned once a year in June and placed in overall 'levels' based on experience, talent, and work ethic. MMP currently has four levels, all which focus on different tiers of Acting, Singing, and Dancing in technique and Theory. Academy members meet two to three times per week for 11 months to accelerate overall Performing Arts knowledge and experience. Master Academy is Musical Mayhem Productions premier program and the only one of its kind offered in the greater Elk Grove area.

Program Successes
- Musical Mayhem Productions Master Academy has produced many local youth actors and actresses with many performing in local commercials on television and radio, as well as instructional safety videos for schools and corporations.
- Special guests include past youth Broadway Actors from Matilda The Musical, Fun Home, Waitress, Wicked, and Legally Blonde.
- In 2014, Master Academy took a trip to New York City and took workshops and classes with Broadway stars and were able to get a real look into an active performers life.
- In 2015, Master Academy traveled to Disneyland and took workshops and classes with Disney Cast Members.
- In 2016, we traveled to Atlanta Georgia to compete in the Junior Theatre Festival where youth theatre companies from around the world meet.
- In 2017, we traveled to Atlanta Georgia to compete in the Junior Theatre Festival, New York City to take classes from Broadway professionals, and Disneyland.
- In 2018, we traveled to Atlanta Georgia to compete in the Junior Theatre Festival, Walt Disney World, and Sacramento for the 1st ever Junior Theatre Festival WEST!
- In 2019, we traveled to Atlanta Georgia to compete in the Junior Theatre Festival, will be travelling to New York City in February, and Disneyland in March, as well as attending the Junior Theatre Festival WEST.

Description
Musical Mayhem Productions holds one (1) audition-only workshop, our Broadway Elite program, open to young actors age 8-21. This is a full show (not a cut down Junior version) accompanied by local musicians, often times high school band members, to form a live orchestration for the performances. This is the only Workshop that you must audition to be a part. Script, Music CD, Show T-Shirt, Set, Props, and Make Up all included to really make our Broadway Elite Workshop 'All Inclusive'. We operate on Equity rules to be as close to professional theatre as possible. We expect the utmost professionalism and effort in our Elite Program.

- Broadway Elite Workshop debuted in 2015 year with 'Urinetown The Musical' with a cast size of 29 and was bestowed nine (9) Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance 'Elly' Award nominations honoring excellence in youth Musical Theatre.
- We won four, including Best Overall Production.
- This program continues to provide and receive regional/national recognition for excellence in youth musical theatre.
- Past Elite Workshops have included: Urinetown the Musical (2015), All Shook Up (2016), Seussical (2017), Curtains (2018), The Music Man (2019), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2020).

Musical Mayhem Productions Broadway Stars Workshop is available to young people ages 8-19, with ages 8-12 requiring a minimum of participation in at least one previous Workshop. We hold in-house auditions to place the parts in the production, however everyone who registers will be in the show. Shows consist of Broadway Junior or School Edition material, often times being full Broadway shows cut down to remove mature content and overall length of the show. 8-10 week rehearsal schedule meeting Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. Two weeks of public performances and Elly eligible. Script, Music CD, Show T-Shirt, Set, Props, and Make Up all included to really make our Broadway Stars Workshop 'All Inclusive'.

Program Successes
- MMP produces three to four Broadway Stars workshops a calendar year, and is our only yearly program offered for teens/high school aged kids. Cast size averaging 65 cast members per workshop.
- Our most recent production, Disney Frozen, Jr. had 124 cast members and nearly 6 sold out performances at the Cosumnes Oaks High School Performing Arts Center.

- Musical Mayhem Productions debuted its Broadway Bound Workshop program in January 2015 with overwhelming support.
- Hoping for 40 cast members, we auditioned 82 5-12 year olds making it our second biggest cast size ever!
- This program offers young people the opportunity to hold down a show on their own and not be overshadowed by teens or young adults.
- Our last Workshop, Willy Wonka, Jr, had 114 cast members!

Program Successes
- Due to overwhelming enrollment for our Broadway Bound Workshop series, we debuted Broadway Junior Workshops in January 2018 with Disney Jungle Book Kids, allowing our youngest performers on stage, four years old.
- Past productions include Disney Jungle Book, Kids, A Year With Frog and Toad, and Disney Cinderella, Kids, and Disney 101 Dalmation, Kids.
- Our latest Workshop, Disney Aristocats, Kids had over 60 cast members!
Description
Musical Mayhem Production Elementary School Workshop is an after school on-site workshop offered to public and private schools in the Elk Grove and Sacramento Unified School Districts. MMP offers Performing Arts Education through workshops that allow schools who have been forced to cut their own Performing Arts budget. Open to all students who attend the school. Rehearsal two times a week after school for 1.5 hours. One performance open to public. Script, Music CD, Set, and Props all included.

Our Home School workshop is catered to youth who are home schooled. Workshop meets once a week during the day. This workshop follows a more curriculum based process as participants are awarded school credit for attending. 8 - 14 week rehearsal with one weekend of public performances. The Home School Workshop also learns aspects of costuming, set building, and prop making to ensure an overall awareness of Musical Theater. Script, Music CD, Show T-Shirt, Set, Props, and Make Up all included.

Program Successes
- Musical Mayhem Productions first Home School Workshop in 2012 had nine cast members and our Spring 2019 Workshop has 89 cast members.
- MMP's Elementary School Workshop is currently at four schools, each after school workshop averaging 50 cast members.
- Often times Performing Arts budgets are the first to be cut, and we offer these educational institutions a supplemental way for their students to receive quality Performing Arts Education.
- In addition, our Elementary School Workshops provide a fundraiser for the school.
- A percentage of ticket sales are donated back to the school directly for improvements, etc.
