Social Venture Partners of Sacramento is part of global network of 46 cities and 3,500+ partners. Since its inception, SVP International has invested more than $55 million into more than 650 non-profit organizations. SVP of Sacramento began in 2008 by a group of local business and entrepreneurial leaders looking for a strategic, innovative, and engaged method of philanthropy with an entrepreneurial spirit. We became the 24th chapter of SVP, and have since invested over $1,300,000 into local non-profits focused on improving the area of educational and workforce development outcomes.
To ensure all students in the Greater Sacramento Region graduate high school and are on a clear pathway to economic security we pull the levers of educational attainment and workforce development by investing and engaging with nonprofits and initiatives that move key outcomes in these spaces forward. When we invest, we not only provide financial capital but also utilize human & social capital to create leverage and build further capacity in their work. Lastly, we act as a mobilizer and aligner of resources toward high-impact nonprofit partnerships ensuring the highest amount of impact is generated.
