Established in 1973, Progress House Inc. has provided quality, comprehensive, and compassionate substance use disorder treatment in Northern California. We currently offer a full continuum of care with four residential facilities, five residential recovery homes and outpatient counseling. Three of our residential programs offer specific services to women and children while our two other residential programs provide services to men. All Progress House Inc. programs offer evidence-based curriculum and a safe and therapeutic environment in which clients and residents can focus on their education, treatment, the skills needed to achieve recovery, and overcome barriers to successful living. Each facility is licensed and certified by the California State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and staffed with professional, licensed counselors.
Progress House provides the highest quality and compassionate services for individuals suffering from substance use disorder. We offer residential, and outpatient services using industry-recognized best practices. We work to advocate for those we serve, to diminish the stigma of addiction, and to further the field we offer educational opportunities to professionals and the public at large.
Progress House Inc. is in need of funding for upgrade of tools used at the facilities, the kitchens need updated cooking utensils, the kitchens need upgrades and many of the locations are due for roof repairs and replacement - these are large expenses not covered under our current contracts.
We also seek funding to secure services for those most disenfranchised and indigent who have no funding source to pay for treatment. This is the most vulnerable and at risk population and being able to provide them services will often be life-saving.
We desire to create a new program for adolescent children who are suffering from addiction through a Intensive Outpatient Treatment curriculum.
We are always looking to improve the quality of our environments for our clients at our residential facilities, such as painting, new flooring, and furniture.
