I’m Natalie, a mother of 4 beautiful children and a founder of Moms of Elk Grove.

I helped start MoEG from a place of need for connection.

As a mom of four, there were seasons where I felt completely overwhelmed. Touched out. Burnt out. Lonely in ways I didn’t even know how to explain. I was pouring everything into my kids, into my family… and quietly losing pieces of myself in the process.

And the hardest part? I knew I wasn’t alone.

Along with some amazing moms, I helped create Moms of Elk Grove. MoEG is built on our need for connection, community, and where being a mom didn’t feel so heavy and isolating. We host two monthly events, a mom’s night out truly for friendship and support, and a children’s play date. Our child events are always free for our community and we continue to keep our MNO low-cost! We also host a community pantry that is fully dependent on community support!

What started as a small idea has become something so much bigger than us.

I’ve watched moms show up to events not knowing anyone, leaving with friendships that carry them through postpartum, divorce, loss, and everything in between. I’ve seen women walk in feeling invisible and walk out feeling seen, supported, and valued.

This community has become a lifeline for so many of us.

But spaces like this don’t exist without support.

This Big Day of Giving, I’m asking you to help us keep this going. Your donation allows us to continue creating safe, welcoming spaces for moms to connect, to breathe, to feel like themselves again. It helps us provide events, resources, and support that meets moms exactly where they are—without barriers.

As a mom raising four kids here in Elk Grove, this isn’t just a nonprofit to me. This is personal. This is about the kind of village I want my children to grow up being a part of. The kind where people show up for each other. Where no mom has to feel alone in a crowded room.

If you’ve ever needed a village… if you’ve ever been a mom who felt like she was barely holding it together… then you understand why this matters.

And if you’re in a place to give, I’m asking you to be part of this with us.

Because no mom should have to do this alone.
