Auburn Interfaith Food Closet has been around since 1999. We served over 379,359 meals in 2025. We remain a totally volunteer organization, with over 250 people donating an average of 36,000 hours a year. Without having costs of staffing, 94% of our expenditures are returned to the community to support client programs.
AIFC is open Monday - Friday and the last Saturday of the month, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We also support a home Bound program for guests unable to come to us during these hours due to illness, disability and/or transportation issues.
I have been on the board for 6 years. As I take over as President in June - help me help this organization to continue it's mission of providing nutritious food for those in need, preserving their dignity and encouraging self reliance.
