Trish's fundraiser for foster kids

I have known about CASA for over 30 years but it wasn't until I moved to Auburn and volunteered in a local kindergarten that I became a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate). There I met a foster child. Learning that child's story moved me to become a CASA volunteer and I have been a CASA for seven years.  I am an advocate for the child in juvenile court  and their friend to a child. I am grateful that three of my CASA kids have been reunited with their parents, one has been adopted, and in another case, the grandparents have permanent guardianship.
