Create More Mentorship Opportunities

I support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Sacramento Area because I believe in the power of mentorship. Their mission is personal to me because I have been a Big Brother for the past 27 years and I am currently matched with my 6th little brother Sam for the past 7 years. 

Sam and I have experienced a multitude of events over the past 7 years, including Zip Lining, Kings games, sailing, fishing, arcade places, multiple shows/events at Golden 1 Center and eating at various restaurants to include hamburgers, sushi, pizza and a variety of other foods. Sam is getting excited to be able to learn to drive soon and has started high school and beginning to think about what he wants to do in his future. He knows that he has me in his corner for any questions or guidance that he may have/need.

More than 100 children that have applied to be a Little Brother or Little Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program are waiting for a mentor. Your donation helps to create more meaningful matches in the community, at schools, and at work sites.
