The girls and I have been dedicated supporters of CASA El Dorado through our volunteer work with National Charity for several years. It's been one of our favorite places to volunteer. In fact, my passion for their mission led me to apply for the role of Fundraising Manager, and I've been fortunate to work there for the past year and a half. Now, the kids affectionately call CASA's annual Box Lunch event 'National Volunteer for Mom Day.' It's a wonderful community event, and I'm thrilled that our entire family wants to be a part of it.

CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, plays an indispensable role in the lives of vulnerable children in our community. These children have often experienced neglect, abuse, or other traumatic events, leaving them in need of a stable and nurturing environment. CASA volunteers step in as advocates, ensuring that these children's voices are heard in court proceedings and that their best interests are prioritized.

Every day, CASA El Dorado works tirelessly to provide these children with the support and guidance they need to thrive. From recruiting and training dedicated volunteers to advocating for resources and services, CASA is a beacon of hope for children who might otherwise be forgotten by the system.
