PRIDE Industries mission is to create employment for people with disabilities and, as the leading employer of people with disabilities, it is our vision to inspire and accomplish an inclusive world where people of all abilities have equal access to achieve their employment goals. We led the industry in person-centered vocational rehabilitation, training, support services, and employment opportunities for people with disabilities—both visible and invisible. We designed proprietary, ground-breaking employment programs for people with disabilities including the I AM ABLE Employment Helpline.


*Giveaway Rules: Entry Period Dates: 12:00am on April 18, 2024, through 11:59pm on May 2, 2024. Trip Voucher Prize: Two prizes will be awarded valued at $800 each. On May 3, 2024, two (2) fortunate winners will be randomly selected to each receive two (2) Southwest flight e-passes each valid for one-way travel on Southwest-operated, published, and scheduled service. This non-transferable prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. The travel voucher can be used for domestic or international travel, but the winner is responsible for international fees and taxes. The trip voucher expires one year from the day it was issued. Eligibility: Participants must be at least nineteen (19) years of age or older and a legal U.S. resident. All PRIDE Industries’ employees, the board of directors, and advisory board members of PRIDE Industries, including their immediate family and other household members are not eligible. Employees and officials with a federal, state, or local government office may be prohibited from accepting Southwest flight e-pass(es)℠. Government employees and officials should consult with their designated government ethics office to determine whether such a prohibition or other form of restriction exists. Any gift received in error should be returned promptly to the event organizer. Method of Entry and Limitations: Automatic entry into the giveaway for individuals who donate to the Big Day of Giving Campaign for PRIDE Industries. One (1) entry per individual. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will depend upon the number of entries received. Winner Selection: The winners will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries received during the Big Day of Giving Campaign. The Michael Ziegler Foundation PRIDE Industries staff will conduct the selection, and their decision will be final and binding in all matters related to the giveaway. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and PRIDE in connection with the sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Winner Notification: The winners will be notified via email or phone. An alternate winner may be selected if a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five (5) days of the initial notification. The prize will be released to the winner only. Privacy: All personal information collected during the giveaway will be used solely to administer it and will not be shared with any third parties except as necessary to fulfill the prize. Compliance: Participants are responsible for ensuring their eligibility and compliance with all giveaway rules and regulations. Any violation or attempt to manipulate the giveaway will result in disqualification. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prize. We create employment for people who experience workforce barriers, including those with disabilities, veterans, foster youth, and trafficking survivors. Through personalized employment coaching, training, and placement, PRIDE Industries helps individuals of all abilities realize their true potential and contribute to their communities.

Needs

PRIDE Industries’ I AM ABLE Helpline is the only employment helpline of its kind in the country that helps people navigate every step of the employment journey.

The Helpline runs on a budget of about $300,000, with three full time employees assisting people in both English and Spanish M-F 8am -6pm. The success has been more than 4,000 calls have been answered, creating more than 125 jobs, resulting in more than $3,000,000 in salaries.
