Since 1999, Public Health Advocates has partnered with communities across California to advance policies, systems, and norms that promote health and racial justice.
Throughout California, barriers such as unequal access to healthy food and safe community spaces continue to shape health outcomes. Public Health Advocates helps advance policy solutions that address these system challenges.
We combine deep community partnerships, public health expertise, and research-driven policy advocacy to address root causes, not just symptoms. We also build local leadership to ensure community-driven systems change, and advance solutions that promote childhood well-being, youth mental health, climate resilience, and racial justice.
