Downtown Sacramento Foundation (DSF) was created in 2011 to foster civic pride through the improvement of the social and physical environment and to encourage entrepreneurship and groundbreaking activations in Sacramento’s central social district.

Most notably, DSF is recognized for establishing the Calling All Dreamers business incubator that supports the next generation of small businesses. The program provides guidance, resources and mentorship to unique business concepts who look forward to opening a storefront in the heart of downtown. The Calling All Dreamers program has helped 20+ winners and participants open shop, including:

·      Allspicery

·      Ana Apple

·      Andy’s Candy Apothecary

·      Cerealism

·      Oblivion Comics & Coffee

·      Milk House Shakes

·      Nash & Proper

·      Neo Escape Rooms

In addition, the foundation believes in meaningful projects to enhance downtown for residents and visitors of Sacramento. From mobile infrastructure in Cesar Chavez Plaza, Spirit Wings public art installation lining The Kay, and the new Old Sacramento Waterfront Iconic Sign, a project funded in part by Big Day of Giving in 2021.  DSF is committed to enhancing the district with long-term activations, including a current beautification project for the I Street gateway, which welcomes visitors to Sacramento.

Your support will aid in our efforts to revitalize areas of our district and encourage more entrepreneurs to make downtown Sacramento their destination of choice.

The DSF is administered by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership.
