Belonging Begins Here.

Dear friends

I am writing again to ask for your support of the mission of Opening Doors, an established Sacramento organization that supports immigrants, refugees, and survivors of trafficking on their path to stability, self-sufficiency, and belonging. 

Maybe your life experiences are a bit like mine. I have never had a family member or close friend need to flee their home for fear of death or persecution. Nor have I witnessed first-hand the horrors of human trafficking.  I am grateful daily for my good fortune, but as a volunteer and board member at Opening Doors, I have seen the needs of these vulnerable members of our community. 

Those who have been rescued from human trafficking situation need intense support services to stabilize their lives and begin to build a future. The resilient refugees arriving in our community from Ukraine and Afghanistan likewise face enormous hurdles as they settle into their new lives in our community. 

Opening Doors is there for them. Can you please be there for Opening Doors? All contributions are welcome.
